Calvary Press has done us a favor by collecting various writings of Warfield on the subject of the Third Person of the Godhead. Sermons and some more academic articles as well as book reviews. Simply magnificent studies by this American prince of exegetes, now finally all in one volume.

Church -- No Spectator Sport: In Search of Spiritual Gifts by Eric Wright (Evangelical Press)
As the title implies, this is a study of the needed role of spiritual gifts in the local church. Wright argues rightly that the more spectacular, "charismatic" gifts have ceased but that the other speaking and serving gifts remain and are invaluable to the life and ministry of the church. An in-depth study, filled with solid exposition and application.
