A General Introduction to the Bible by Norman Geisler and William Nix (Moody Press)
A massive compendium of research information on questions relating to bibliology -- inspiration, canonicity, text transmission, and translation. A comprehensive and most valuable study. Now revised and updated with additional information added since the earlier editions. Very, very good. Highly recommended.

Living By the Book by James Montgomery Boice (Baker Books, 1997)
Fourteen expositions of each successive stanza of Psalm 119. An excellent study of this Psalm about the Bible. Pastoral, warm, interesting, and most helpful in focusing the reader's attention and loyalty to the Scriptures.

Standing on the Rockby James Montgomery Boice
One of the big reasons God gave us Dr. Jim Boice was to help so many on this issue of the character and reliability of the Bible. This book is a good sample of Dr. Boice's work -- "Upholding Biblical Authority in a Secular Age." Demonstrates clearly and well that we have very good reason to believe and trust the Word of God, the Bible -- a book that can and will withstand every attack. Deals with the nature of the Bible, how to handle supposed discrepancies, questions of sufficiency, and more. A great series of bible study lessons, and a great resource to keep available on the church book table.

The Sufficiency of Scripture by Noel Weeks (Banner of Truth)
From the title you may expect here a book on the Bible's teaching concerning it's sufficiency. But that's not what you'll find. It is, however, a very good demonstration of the Bible's sufficiency. Weeks deals with questions ranging from the Bible's authority and inerrancy to interpretation, translation, and it's demands regarding various contemporary issues (evolution, feminism, etc.). A clear exposition and application of Biblical authority.
